Oh, Behave!

This post is for the ladies (and all you magical tampon drunks).

So, some among you may have noticed that the only place you can buy O.B. brand tampons anymore is at Big Lots, if you are lucky. It turns out the Johnson and Johnson Company stopped producing the applicator-free feminine hygiene products in 2009 and thought that no one would notice. They were wrong.

Now, they are admitting it.

For a personal apology, go here, and for the love of gawd, do not miss the opportunity to insert your name (no pun intended).

Anytime I see them, I buy up every box on the shelf. But I may run about before menopause, so I'm so glad they're back.

I buy them at Target and I've never had a problem. Is this one of the few golden benefits of living in the great state of Pennsylvania?

Our local co-op sells them.

So... here's my question: How come Johnson & Johnson is only sorry to their Canadian customers. It's a .ca site and this is at the bottom: "This site is intended for Visitors from Canada only."

I hadn't noticed that, YL. I don't know what that means. The truth is, I never had a hard time finding them, so I guess it was only a problem in Canada?

I totally tricked that thing and told it my name is Skeeter. Word.

Ah, the Canada point is interesting. I couldn't find them easily in Michigan, where product boxes were often in French and English owing to the proximity to the border. They were probably on the same supply route.

that is one quirky apology. re: the Canada thing... I clicked the link at the bottom that said "For the US version, click here" -- the audio and video weren't synced which was pretty annoying.
